Concerning the project entitled "RESEARCH, DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF ECOLOGICAL ELECTRIC VEHICLES MADE OF ADVANCED COMPOSITE MATERIALS, EQUIPPED WITH PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS AND REALIZATION OF AN ASSEMBLY LINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE FINAL PRODUCT"
Financing Contract no. 6925/09.06.2021, SMIS code is 136062, and Additional Act no. 4/ 16.07.2024 for stage II, SMIS code is 324110
By Additional Act no. 4/16.07.2024 to Financing Contract no. 6925, concluded with the North-West Regional Development Agency, as Managing Authority for the North-West Regional Program 2021-2027, the project has been phased within the framework of the financing program PR NV 2021 - 2027.
The implementation period of the second phase of the Project, financed under the North-West Regional Program 2021-2027 is 17 months, i.e. from 01.01.2024 to 31.05.2025.
The estimated financing needs for the implementation of phase II are the following:
➢ Total amount: 30.243.254,14 lei
➢ Total eligible amount: 21.829.162,86 lei
➢ Total amount of grant: 13.100.097,72 lei.
In the project phase under the POR 2014-2020, completed on 31.12.2023, the following activities were carried out:
1. Completion of phase 1, namely the research and development activity, including the fulfillment of the indicators assumed for it;
2. Start of phase 2, in which several supply contracts were finalized, for the equipment foreseen to be purchased through the grant contract.
Phase 2 of the phased project will be finalized and the following activities will be carried out:
1. Procurement of CP and CU production devices
2. Assembly / Commissioning of the equipment purchased and delivered through the Supply Contract No. 315/13.09.2023 in a new production hall, built from own funds of SC BELCO AVIA SRL.
3. Updating the website www.belcoavia.ro
4. Realization of mandatory information and publicity materials according to the NV MIV 2021-2027.

Project Status Update – POR/2019/1/1.1/OS 1.2/1
General Objective of the Project
The general objective of the project is to ensure the smart development and specialization of BELCO AVIA S.R.L., by diversifying its production activity through the manufacturing of two new proprietary products, resulting from the implementation of two distinct phases:

Phase I: Research and development, completed by validating the prototypes of the new products at TRL 5 level;

Phase II: Acquisition of the necessary equipment for producing the new products, along with their installation and commissioning.
Within the ROP 2014–2020, Phase II of the project has also started. Due to the project's complexity, at the request of BELCO AVIA, a new addendum to the financing contract has been signed, through which the project has been phased into the Regional Programme North-West 2021–2027.

Scheduled completion date of Phase II: 31.12.2025

Reason for extending the implementation period: the need to optimize the production flow by installing part of the equipment purchased under the project in a new production facility, currently under construction with own funding.
